Barbie: The Princess and the Popstar is a 2012 American musical Comedy fantasy animated film produced by Rainmaker Animation and Universal Studios Home Entertainment. It is the 23rd in the Barbie film series and the 2nd Barbie film to be based on The Prince and the Pauper by Mark Twain (the first was Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper) in celebration of Universal's centennial anniversary, however it was the 2nd to use the name "Princess and The Popstar" the first movie is an episode from VeggieTales titled Princess and The Popstar.The film features the voices of Kelly Sheridan, Jennifer Waris, Ashleigh Ball, Tiffany Giardina, Ellie King, and Peter Kelamis.
