Castle of Owls (1963)
Castle of Owls is a 1963 ninja film directed by Eiichi Kudō starring Ryūtarō Ōtomo and Minoru Ōki. The film was written on the basis of Ryōtarō Shiba's novel, Fukurō no Shiro. In 1999, it was remade as Owls' Castle by Masahiro Shinoda. The remake is much more known than the original film.
