Deiva Magan (1969)

Deiva Magan is a 1969 Tamil language film starring Sivaji Ganesan in a triple role. Sivaji Ganesan enacted three roles for the second time in his career after Bale Pandiya. He acted as a father and two sons. The film has Pandari Bai and Jayalalitha as the female lead. The film was the first ever Tamil film to be submitted by India in contest for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. The film had a song "Deivamae Deivamae" sung by T. M. Soundararajan which became very popular. Sivaji's performance in this film was well acclaimed.
