Tahmina (1993)
Tahmina is a full-length Azerbaijani film shot in Baku, Moscow and Istanbul in 1993. Screenplay was written by Anar Rzayev according to his novel The sixth floor of the 5-story building. Directed by Rasim Ojagov, this film is in drama genre depicting the love affair between a male (Zaur) from an affluent family and a divorced female trying to make her best to survive in a conservative society. The film is considered as one of the best Azerbaijani movies produced in 1990's. The funding for the film was provided by a Turkish businessman.
