The Floating Lives is a movie based on a short story by Nguyen Ngoc Tu in Vietnam. In Vietnam, the movie and the novel have the same name - Endless Fields (Vietnamese: Cánh đồng bất tận). It generated revenues of 17 billion VND in 2010 (around 0.8 million USD).
