The White Poodle (1956)

The White Poodle (Russian: Белый пудель) is a Soviet film made at the Odessa Film Studio. The screenplay was adapted by Grigorii Grebnev from the Aleksandr Kuprin story of the same name. It was directed by Marianna Roshal and Vladimir Shredel. The main roles were played by Viktor Koltsov and Vladimir Polyakov, with others taken by Natalie Gitserot, Alexander Antonov and Georgy Millyar. Filmed in 1955, it was released in October 1956.
