Visitors (2003)
Visitors is a 2003 thriller film dealing with the experiences of a young woman sailing solo on a yacht around the world. The loneliness makes her start to lose her sanity. The movie was directed by Richard Franklin and was produced by Jennifer Hadden. This film in some ways is close to the theme of "The Shining" by Stanley Kubrick. Director Richard Franklin attempts to create an atmosphere of isloation and cabin-fever phenomena in the lonely girl on the water.
